Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
SimchaSet ("the Service") is operated by Eim Leah, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Lakewood, New Jersey ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SimchaSet helps families plan simchas, including curated checklists and Shabbos guest-logistics tools. Free features are available to all registered users. Certain features (including Shabbos Logistics) require purchase of a paid pass.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Payments and Passes
Paid passes are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Pass prices and durations are shown at the time of purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review your case.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information you enter into the Service (event details, guest lists, host information, and similar content). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to share any personal information you enter about others (such as guests and hosts).
6. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to access another user's data or interfere with the operation of the Service.
- Do not resell or redistribute the Service without permission.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (including limitations of liability) survive.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eim Leah is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
